Bath Time!

Mom didn't feel like filling the tub to give me a bath, but I really needed it, so I got one in the sink instead! And I LOVED IT!!!! It was so much easier to splash around. I made a mess of the kitchen, but I had a good time.

Standing

Mommy went away with some friends for the weekend leaving me and Daddy alone. We did pretty good by ourselves. We both survived anyway. Daddy won't give Mommy many details about how I behaved though. He did tell her I stood up on my own. But he says I didn't really pull myself up to standing, it was more like I crawled up the screen. The screen is broken and leans out a little, so I put my forehead against it and pushed my feet against the floor until I was standing!

July 4th Weekend

On Thursday July 3rd Daddy joined Mommy and me on our weekly zoo trip. I think he had more fun than I did!

Then on Friday we left for Pete's Puddle to go camping for the weekend. They had a fireworks display on Saturday night, but I was out cold by the time it started so I didn't get to see them. So we'll have to wait until next year to see how I react. Daddy was tickling me here.

This is a little red rubber bowl Nana Frank gave me to play with and chew on. They suctioned it to my stomach for fun! I just thought they were nuts.

I kept trying to help Nana put the cot together.

Sitting Up

I'm really starting to master this sitting up thing. I can't sit myself up yet, but when Mom and Dad sit me up I stay for 5 to 10 minutes now, and longer sometimes. I've gotten good enough at it, Mom even sits me in shopping carts now!
