The Zoo, Graduations, & a New Slide

A lot has happened in the last couple weeks. Mom and I started our weekly zoo trips again, her and I went back to Grandma & Grandpa's for graduations, and I got a new toy for outside! Plus some other things here and there. This is my backpack that we put books in for long car rides. I like stuffing things in it and carrying it around, and this day Mommy helped me put it on.

Giving Katie bye-bye kisses.

This was our second zoo trip of the month. Lacey went with us (as well as Stephanie, Sarah & Emily) both times. Lacey helped me feed the goats and the sheep.

They really liked us!

Lacey finally held me up out of their reach.

I really liked the babies.

Sarah and I riding one of the bronze lions.

Emily was there too. Can't forget her!!

I enjoyed walking with Stephanie and Lacey. Mommy was taking her turn pulling the wagon.

Daddy's foot in the Bumbo made a really good bouncing toy.

Then he put it on his head to be funny. I loved it so much I threw a fit whenever he took it off!

We spent most of last Saturday at Great-Uncle Gary & Aunt Gloria's house for their kids' graduation. I had a really good time.

Uncle Gary was tickeling me with his beard!

Hanging with my cousin Christian.

Uncle Paul messing with me.

And now it looks like I'm telling him off now.

Hmmm, can I sit on Grandpa?

Why not!

Cousin Katelyn joined in too.

Someone gave me a chocolate cupcake, and it was NOT Mommy.

I had a good time hanging out with my cousin Lacey (one of the graduates).

Probably because she kept giving me ice pops! I had at least 4 or 5, that Mom knows of.

Busted!

When we got home, Mom went and bought me a Climb 'n Slide for the yard. Daddy let me help unpack it.

The finished product!

I was so tired at lunch today I feel asleep while eating!

First Haircut

I got my first haircut today! Mommy and Daddy took me to a place that had a special area just for kids! There was an under water mural painted on the wall, fun chairs to sit on (I sat on the frog but there were also two seals), and a TV to watch a movie! And April, the lady that cut my hair, was really nice. I sat on the chair really good, but I kept twisting all over trying to see what the lady was doing. She was obviously used to it though because it didn't even seem to bother her!

The spraying water really tickled!

Hmmm, what's she doing?

This isn't too bad.

Ok, this is starting to get annoying! Are we done yet?

I'm such a handsome boy!!!

We think she did a good job.

They gave Mommy a little bag with some of my hair in it and they gave me this certificate!

I've been carrying a broken pair of Daddy's headphones around for some time now, but last night Mommy hooked them up to her MP3 player and let me listen. I preferred to plug the headphones in and then unplug them at first.

Then I kept trying to hear the music from the MP3 player itself.

Now I'm getting somewhere!

Once I figured it out I had no problem walking around the house listening to the music. I broke the head piece awhile back so I have to hold it up to my ear.

Hmmm, what buttons can I push on here?

This week I also figured out I can get the milk out of the fridge. I still have to have help opening the door, but I know what to do from there!

Daddy even let me help pour the milk.

We didn't spill any.

Time to put the milk away!

I got it back in all on my own. Of course then I wanted to pull it right back out and do it all over again.
