Easter Weekend

LOOK! LOOK! Mommy did good this time & you get two new posts in one month!!!!! Of course it was Easter & that's a pretty important time of the year & should get it's very own post! Good job Mom!


We kicked off our Easter weekend by going to Pete's Puddle Saturday! Daddy & I did some fishing, Mommy & Kaylee did some hanging out (Kaylee napped too) and Nana cleaned up & got the camper ready for the summer! Poor Nana got shafted!





Not sure what I was excited about here. Daddy probably told me he'd take me fishing!

I have no idea what Kaylee is doing! She apparently wanted everyone to see her tummy!


We walked up to the playground & played for a little while too. "Sing me, sing me!!" (which means "swing me" in Kaylee)


This slide is fast & kind of steep. I loved it!!


"How did you get up there Koca!?"


"Peek-a-boo!! Hahahahah"

Easter Morning!! Headed out to get our baskets the Easter Bunny left us!


"I found eggs Mom!"


"Oooo, here's one!"


It took her a little while to get into what we were doing.


She'd find an egg & then want to stop & open it.


The Easter Bunny left eggs everywhere!


Now she finally figured out what we're doing!!


"Here's one on the swing set!"


After our egg hunt we headed off to church to do another Easter egg hunt, then attend church service! Kaylee was not sure what to think of the Easter Bunny that showed up....

She was still on a roll from our hunt at home, so she gathered a lot!

I took off to the back of the playground to gather eggs.








We were sidetracked & wouldn't look at Mommy to take a good Easter picture. Oh well! At least we held still long enough to get us both in the picture!

After the egg hunt we all go into the fellowship hall & they draw each child's name, then we get to pick a stuffed animal off this table!

Kaylee/Daddy's choice. Though she is still way too interested in the candy to care about the bunny right now!

Catch Up Time!

I didn't know what a fresh pineapple was, so Mommy bought one & cut it up for me. I liked it just as well as the canned stuff. Kaylee wanted to try it too. She LOVED it!

We went to the park one day to feed the ducks, geese, & swans. It was so much fun! They are obviously used to people feeding them, as soon as we walked up they all came running & stayed close until we left.

Daddy was putting shelves up for Kaylee in her new room (she moved into Mommy & Daddy's old room so she had more space). She wanted to be like Daddy!


"Yes Mommy?" The red box is actually supposed to be a recycle tub IN her play kitchen! But she always dumps it out, turns it over & stands on it, especially when playing at her kitchen!

Nope! Mom & Dad just need to buy a new swing and hang it lower for her!

She didn't really know what to think of Daddy's motorcycle when they first put her on it.


Then Daddy showed her what to do & it was ok! As long as he didn't move it! Then she'd get very nervous again! (I'm throwing weeds around in the background. Not sure why!)
