Christmas!!

I had a very good Christmas. First thing in the morning Mommy, Daddy and I opened gifts. Then we had brisket, mashed potatoes, and fried green beans for lunch. I loved everything but the brisket. I spit it out just as fast as I put it in! Nana Frank joined us for lunch and she brought me more gifts. It was a really good day.

I was awake and cuddling with Mommy for about 30 minutes before I noticed anything under the tree. Of course then I had to investigate! The first present I grabbed had a ribbon on it, when I pulled it towards me it made noises!! I was hooked then and had to open all of my gifts, with a few distractions here and there.

Still trying to figure out how to get in it.....

And here is a video of me finally getting into it! With some help of course.

After a short break to hide the car from me, we continued on. Be aware, this video is about six minutes long!

When I finally stopped being distracted long enough to open the gift, this is what I had!! I love this toy. I played with this the most all day. By bed time I had even already 'momentarily misplaced' two of the five balls!!

Playing with that cool phone after we were done with gifts.

Opening my gift from Nana and Papa Frank.

When I pull (or push) it, the bears and the mirror on the bottom spin in a circle.

1st Birthday Party

Mommy hasn't been feeling well this week, so she's really slacking on putting my birthday party pictures up. But she's finally feeling better so here they are! I had a great turnout for my party! I felt very loved since we had about 30 people, kids and adults, come see me. Along with the presents and the yummy cake, I had a great time trying to keep up with all the kids running around! I got lots of wonderful presents and have really been enjoying them all week. Driving Mom and Dad crazy with all the noisy ones is the best part!

Opening a few of my presents. I liked the wrapped ones. I wasn't really sure what to do with the ones in the bags with tissue. I pulled at the tissue a little, but got frustrated with those pretty quick.

Blowing out the candle on my own special cake!

These were some of the people at my party, watching me blow out the candle.

And some more people.

And the rest of the people.

Ok Mom, the candle is out, let me at it!

Yummmmm

Mom made me take my shirt off before she'd let me get into my cake.

Are you sure I can have this?????

Ok! Here goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The kids all waiting for a slice of their own.

This stuff is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man am I stuffed.......

Ok, you took the thing away, now let me down.

Oooooo, wait, let's feed Katie a little of it.

Katie waiting for me to clear out so she can clean up. Like she usually does. And me checking out the mess I made!

Good thing Mom made me take my shirt off! She should have taken my jeans off too. All the red washed out though, so it was ok.

My masterpiece. Boy was it yummy. I ate about half of it.

1 YEAR OLD!!!!!!

The day before my birthday didn't go so well. I've been stuffy, so my lip was getting sore, then I had my one year checkup and they gave me two shots that really hurt. However, the doctor did tell us that I'm growing and developing very well. She enjoyed seeing me running around the exam room. The nurse told Mom and Dad that I weigh 20 pounds 14 ounces (25th percentile), I'm 29 1/2 inches tall (40th percentile), and my big head comes in at 19 inches (80th percentile)! That afternoon I was playing with Katie when I fell and hit the wicker basket in the dining room. This is what it looked like right after.

And this is what it looks like today!! You can't really tell in this picture, but it's swollen too.

My birthday was much better though. I hung out with Mom and Dad all day, then I got to open my present from them after supper! It took me a little bit to catch on to what Dad was showing me, but then I had fun tearing away at the paper!!

Here is a video of me opening my gift. Katie wanted to help.

I got a Leap Frog Learn & Groove Music Table. I really enjoy all the buttons, slides and levers there are to push and pull. It's makes lots of noise and drives Dad nuts!!!!!

These are some pictures from my one year birthday photo session. Once they let me off the chair, I didn't want to sit still. The poor lady had to take the pictures really fast and Mom had to move me back into place a lot.

I liked this football, I kept trying to eat it.

Thanksgiving & Helping Dad

Well, my first Thanksgiving was pretty good. I really enjoyed all the food I got to eat. My favorites were the turkey, the sweet potatoes, and the green bean casserole. I spent Thanksgiving day with Daddy's side of the family. Bad Mommy forgot to take any pictures though!! Then on Sunday we had lunch with Mommy's side. That's where these pictures are from.

Brandyn climbed in the (empty) mop bucket and CJ was pushing him around the kitchen. They stuck me in it too so they could get a picture of us boys.

I was playing with Mommy's pillow, and having a good time!

Not sure how I got this remote and no one has taken it from me yet.......

Apparently something really amused me.

Great-Uncle Gary's beard fascinates me. He's showing me how to be a little more gentle.

Squealing for some reason. Probably just because that's what I like to do.

Me with my cousins again. Katelyn included this time. We all needed a nap, so we weren't very happy anymore. Brandyn is, but only because he is having his picture taken!

I got a new winter coat today (December 6) and I got to try it out when Dad went out to hang Christmas lights on the house. I carried the hooks around for him for awhile.

But then I got bored with that and decided to dump them all out!! Mommy had fun picking them out of the leaves. Ha, ha, ha!!!

Pausing to watch Daddy hang the lights.

Daddy set the ladder up near me in the rocks. I thought it was pretty funny when he was up on it looking down at me.
