Christmas Day!!

I spent most of the week before Christmas asking Mom if I could open my presents, and they weren't even under the tree yet! I had only seen one from a friend, that Mommy didn't get put away, laying around! Christmas Eve helping Mommy open her birthday presents made it even worse. I asked all day long. So when I woke up Christmas morning she wasn't surprised when I asked if I could open presents before I even got to the living room. And the first gift I found was a toddler size drum set from Nana!

They are awesome!!!!!!!

When I finally moved on to my pile of gifts I wasted no time! I started ripping away!!

I liked the book Nana gave me, but didn't pay much attention to the clothes. Which is a really cute, and warm, sweat set.

Nana gave Daddy and I a remote control plane! I'm always asking if I can play with it.

I also got a vacuum of my own! So now I can really help Mommy clean, without being in the way!

Back to the drums, this time with Nana and Daddy. I like playing them, but usually make someone play with me.

Here's a video of me and Daddy playing the drums.

Cheesing for the camera, again.

Coloring with my new color book and markers. They are Crayola Color Wonder markers, so they only color on special paper. I don't notice a difference though, I still love them!

2nd Birthday Party

Lots of family and some good friends came to celebrate my 2nd birthday with me and we all had a really good time. We had some sandwiches for lunch, then really yummy cupcakes, cake and ice cream after! I got a lot of really nice gifts too that I have loved playing with. Playing with the balloon centerpieces kept me busy until the other kids arrived. I kept running through this bunch and punching them.

And of course, I kept getting stuck too.

Playing with balloons with my friend Sarah.

I really liked bouncing on the balloons.

My cousins, Brandyn, Katelyn, and Christian made it too!

Nana let us play on the piano that was there.

My birthday cake that Grandma Ruby made, and some of the guests.

I had no problems blowing out the candle this year!

Some of the cupcakes our friend Stephanie made me. They had Lighting McQueen cars and Mater trucks on top.

Stuffing my face with cake and ice cream, literally.

After I opened this gift, a backhoe, I had a hard time focusing on opening anything else. Good job Grandpa Vince!

I did finally move on to other gifts.

My friend Emily really wanted to help with the gifts.

This globe has lights on the inside that when you push the button they spin and change patterns. It's really cool, and fascinating.

I wasn't the only one fascinated by it either!

My last gift was a workbench with tools and stuff from Mommy and Daddy.

All the kids were trying to play with the tools while Mommy was trying to put together the work bench. We were really driving her nuts.

Catching Up

Our life has been prretty busy since Mommy last updated this. We sold our house in Wichita, within a week, and moved to McPherson right before Thanksgiving. We are currently living with Nana Frank, but should have a new house of our own by the end of December! Things are finally starting to calm down some though, for now..... Here are some pictures Mommy has gotten in all the madness.

Mommy found me walking/stumbling around the house in her boots.

I wanted them off so I could see the pictures Mommy was taking.

Cheesing with Mommy.

This was our last visit with Ms. Angela, my Wichita Parents As Teachers lady.

We made putty out of liquid starch and soap. I mixed the pretty orange color all by myself with the food coloring!

This stuff was really fun. Even Mommy enjoyed playing with it!

Flattening it out.

We used straws to blow bubbles in it. That was my favorite part.

MOVING DAY!!!! Katelyn and I carried the couch cushions out to the U-haul. It's the only thing they would let us help with.

We made a good team.

The week after we moved to McPherson Mommy and I had a picnic lunch at the park close to Nana's, then I got to play on the playground! It was a lot of fun.

This slide was exciting.

But this was my favorite slide! I kept going back to it over and over again.

And I really enjoyed going down it backwards on my stomach!

I kept grabbing the rails and leaning out these openings and scaring the poo out of Mommy.

The wheel on this "fire truck" was kind of neat.

A little boy and his Mom showed up shortly after us. I had a good time playing with him. I kept trying to imitate what he was doing. I'm looking down at him beneath the walkway here.

Mommy thinks this played music or something at one point. Now it's just buttons, that I liked smacking.

The little boy, who's standing behind me, was holding the rails and swinging on it. I was trying to imitate him.

We got to put up our Christmas tree at Nana's house and I was very excited about helping Mommy decorate it. So she handed me the (plastic) ornaments and let me hang them where I wanted. I think she went back later and rearranged them though.

Carefully carrying one to the next spot.

This looks good, again.

Mommy helping me move it a little.

Hmmm, can I get back there?

Sure can! And Mommy said it was ok!!
