Parks in February

A couple weeks ago Dad decided to take us to Coronado Heights. It ended up being a little more chilly than it was supposed to be, but luckily Mommy had taken our jackets! And since Nana went with us, she carried Kaylee wrapped up in her coat to make sure Kaylee was warm! I really enjoyed the castle and didn't want to leave!

Climbing the stairs to the top. They are really steep! Which is why Daddy is right behind me to make sure I get to the top ok.

Checking out the top. Guess it's not what I thought it would look like!

Nana stayed down below with Kaylee since the stairs are steep, and because it's extra windy on top of the castle!

We also walked around to the picnic areas a little bit. I'm showing Daddy the flowers I found. It didn't matter to me they were all dried up, I liked them anyway!

Daddy was holding on to me letting me look over the edge of one of the picnic areas. It's a pretty steep drop off this one!

Nana's hiding from the camera, but Kaylee had no problem smiling for Mommy!

Walking between the picnic areas.

I had to climb to the top of the castle one more time before we left.

Kaylee kept running her hand up and down the rock wall. She must have really liked the feeling of it, since she kept smiling and giggling while she did it!

Next we went into Lindsborg to the Viking Valley Playground. Most of it is designed to look like a village. Though there is also a rocket ship (on the right side of the picture), a tree house, a (short) climbing wall, and a viking ship!

Riding the Dala Horse that's located in the playground. These are located all over town and decorated in many different ways. This one is covered with kids hand prints!

The tree house.

One of the climbing areas. I made it up these several times, all on my own!

A few days later, Kaylee was playing and I decided I needed to join in.

For once, Kaylee didn't seem to mind!
