All School's Day

May 13th was All School's Day where all the school's in the county get together to celebrate the end of the school year. It began in 1914 as a way to celebrate the graduation of all the eighth graders in the county. They have a parade, a week long carnival, several other activities and the town pretty much shuts down on Friday.
We all went to the carnival on Thursday afternoon. They had several rides just for kids my size!! This picture is just before my very first roller coaster ride started. I was very excited about riding "the dragon." Which was actually supposed to be an alligator.

While the ride operator got the other kids to raise their hands in the air, I would not let go of the bar in front of me! (That's me at the front on the left if you couldn't tell)

Kaylee is still too small to ride any of the rides. So she watched me instead.

Daddy and Kaylee waiting for the next ride to start.

I wasn't as sure about this ride. It was a dragon that went back and forth like a swing.

I smiled a little, but never got into like the roller coaster. It probably didn't help that the kid next to me was flipping out! He cried the whole time. I actually tried to comfort him!!

Then I rode the motorcycle merry-go-round. Which I loved.

Trying to figure out what Dad wants.

Poor Kaylee stuck watching me again.

Then we moved on to the boat merry-go-round. Which was more fun than the motorcycle because it had a steering wheel that moved!!

Again, Kaylee stuck watching me.

I also played in the bouncy castle, but there were way too many kids for Mommy to get any pictures of me. Plus Mommy kept losing me when I'd go around back up the steps to go down the slide. After that I was going to ride the Ferris wheel with Mommy, but I got tired of waiting in line. So we went back to ride the roller coaster again. I got to the front of the line and decided I was done, and wanted to go home. So we got a funnel cake and ate it in the Jeep! It was delicious!!

Kaylee having her first piece of funnel cake. She loved it too.
Mommy took Kaylee and I to the parade on Friday but it was cold, so we were all bundled up and didn't get any pictures! Thanks again Nana for the extra blankets! My favorite part was the school bands. After one would pass I'd tell Mommy "I want more drums!" Kaylee just hung back watching everything. She seemed to get most excited about the bands too though.
