Basement Remodel...Again

So once again, Momma has been a complete slacker for over a month! So here are some pictures from January & and a few from February.

Daddy decided he needed a dedicated office space in the basement, so he's taken what's left of the utility space (after the bathroom addition) and basically cut it in half to make an office! This is what he began with.

Checking if I can come in to. See me peeking in the door?

Kaylee stole these beads out of a box at Nana's house one day & now refuses to give them back because she LOVES them (good thing Nana doesn't care!). They are the first thing she puts on in the morning or after a nap and she's protective of them! If I get ahold of them, she goes nuts screaming "mine!" until she gets them back.

Hmm, this looks like trouble waiting to happen!

I wanted to touch the ceiling with it. I don't know why...

You sure you don't need this Dad?

Mid-January Momma, Kaylee & I all got sick with croup. Which is just a respiratory infection, but it made us all feel so miserable we didn't do anything for over a week! Plus, Kaylee & I had to get steroid shots! We both felt so crummy this day we actually sat in the chair together! With no complaints or fighting! And then we both fell asleep!

Kaylee half asleep, me out cold!

Finally feeling better! I was playing catch with Momma (yes, in the house) & I wanted to stop to pose with my football.

Cheese Momma! Notice the necklace she has on, again! Plus she adds the plastic costume necklaces now too!

Kaylee really enjoyed "helping" Daddy on this project. She was down in the room with him as much as possible!

I have NO idea what she is doing!

Getting screws out of the bag...

To hand to Daddy so he can put the Sheetrock up!

"You're not taking my bag..."

Time to paint!!

And Daddy let me help!!!!!

The (almost) finished room. Just waiting on carpet to be installed in about a week! Yes, there is a hole in the wall by that door. It is a cat door so Butters can get to her food & litter box in the laundry room.

What's left of the laundry/utility room.

On a trip to Lowe's, I spotted a wooden school bus that you could build. I asked very politely, "Daddy, would you help me build this if we got it?" Well, that pretty much melted Mom & Dad's hearts & they said yes! So we built it last night & had a blast!!

I did the majority of the hammering. Daddy had to finish them for me though.

I think Daddy's a little concerned I will hit his fingers! And Kaylee is losing interest...

Cheese!

She got bored & left...with her chair...

The finished school bus!! (Momma put the stickers on)

Vroom, vroom...
