On August 28th we went to the When Pig's Fly In air show at the airport and got to see not only a plane do cool stunts while flying, but also other neat planes and old cars parked on the tarmac and a motorcylce stunt show. Kaylee slept through the whole thing, so this is a picture of her before we left the house.
I insisted she needed to wear a headband!
It took me a little to figure out what the planes were doing on the runway. Once I figured it out though I got pretty excited. Only one plane did stunts, the others just took off, flew around the area a little, then landed and parked again.
Daddy held me up to look into this one!
The "Flying Babe" airshow was the main attraction and was neat, but I couldn't keep track of where the plane was in the sky and lost interest pretty quickly. Mom and Dad enjoyed it though.
About a week later, Daddy was shaving and I kept insisting I needed to shave too (like I always do) so he let me have at it with the shaving cream and a razor with no blade.
I had a really good time with it.
I may need to work on putting on the shaving cream!
I have the general idea down though.
A few days later Mommy found me playing in the living room with several of my stuffed animals and my baby doll. I pulled the window seat cushion off onto the floor and was "putting my babies to bed" covering them up and telling them that it was night-night time.
After I busted her taking pictures of me, I insisted she needed to get pictures OF my babies. So I held up my baby doll...
then my teddy bear, and then several others.
The next day we went to the Puddle to hang out and stay the night. Daddy was laying in one of the bunk beds playing with me. I'd turn the light off and he'd act like he was asleep, then I'd turn the light on and he'd act like I startled him awake. I was laughing hysterically over this.
Kaylee liked being at the Puddle too.
September 13 Mommy took Kaylee and I to the State Fair with some friends of ours. We had a good time walking around looking at all the different things. The pony ride was one of the best parts!
The petting zoo was really fun too. This goat really liked me, even though I kept trying to stick my fingers in his nose!
For some reason I was excited to see the pig too.
I had a blast "milking" this cow.
I kept running back over to do it again and again.
All the different picture boards were fun to stick my head in. This was the only one I stayed still long enough for Mom to get a good picture of though.
